Laser welding/cladding

Laser welding is today an essential tool for repairs and design modifications in mould manufacturing.

The main advantage is that the required material hardness is preserved after welding, without dimensional distortion and with minimal heat input. Laser welding allows the precise build-up of surfaces, edges, and sharp corners of mould components without damage or burn-through in the surrounding material. Using this technology, we can successfully repair all types of tool steels, aluminium alloys, Ampcoloy®, and copper.

For more extensive repairs or design modifications, we use ENESKAimpulse 230 pulsed TIG welding technology.
